Buried Treasure

I've heard loads about Dennis Wilson's solo record Pacific Ocean Blue, but until last night, had never actually heard anything from it. This change in fortunes was brought about by downloading an MP3 mix from David Hepworth's blog. On it, following a segue from Paul McCartney's Let 'Em In was River Song - and it was amazing. I had no idea what I was listening to at the time, just that it was lush, ethereal, haunting, and all of those other things that make for great 2am listening.

The first thing I did when I got out of bed earlier was head to my computer, and to David Hepworth's blog in order to find out what it was that I'd heard. I was initially disappointed to find it was from Pacific Ocean Blue, as I know how hard it is to come by a copy. However, in a moment of rare optimism, I had a quick scour of a well known search engine, using the obvious keywords.
