Proustian Rush

Tentative steps into writing a book (or a screenplay, or whatever it's going to turn out to be), and an attempt to evocatively immerse myself in the sounds of the period in which part of it is set - the 1980s - has led me to the Proustian rush offered by some of the following, which I am loving right now:
